Description
A steel leader for pike and other toothy predators.
The weave decides the behaviour: 1×7 is stiffer and cheaper, 7×7 is more supple, so it restricts the lure action less and is less likely to stay kinked after a bite. A nitinol (shape memory alloy) leader returns to straight after being bent, so it lasts longer. The length is chosen to match the lure: too short and it does not protect against teeth, too long and it hampers the cast. The exact length and rated load are given in the technical data.
