The main customers for this lure are pike and zander. Two hollows in the sides of the lure let it roll well onto its sides, while the thin tail with its rounded end glides easily during the retrieve and tempts the fish.
Thanks to the specific shape with the hollows in the body of the lure, during the take the lure folds up neatly in the predator’s jaws, which avoids losing the tail and makes the strike easier.
