Studying pelagic fishing closely, we concluded that the Maxlug alone does not solve every task, and decided to create a slimmer slug. We took the Skinny shad as the base and, after many tests and refinements, arrived at an excellent new lure.
The advantages of this slug shape: less air resistance on the cast, the option of using lighter weights, the lure drops down to the target faster, and it is less demanding about rigging.
The recommended rig is a jig head or a screw-in sinker combined with an additional stinger. The lure can also be used successfully on a heavy drop shot.
