Description
PowerPhantom braids are made using an original weaving technology that prevents twist in use. Friction against the guides on the cast is reduced to a minimum, which is what gives the casting distance.
These multifilament braids are made from high-modulus Dyneema SK 65 polyethylene and belong to the latest generation of braided SUPER PE lines. Their hallmarks are a perfectly round cross-section, a precisely calibrated diameter and a combination of softness and weave density.
Thanks to a smooth, slippery surface, PowerPhantom casts further than the vast majority of alternative braids of the same diameter. Unlike stiff braids, which, like monofilaments, carry a degree of memory, PowerPhantom is entirely free of that shortcoming — which makes it efficient and comfortable in jig fishing with the lightest heads. Power Phantom can also be used at sub-zero air temperatures.
