About the lure
EcoPro Phantom is a sinking lure of the vibration class that works in any water layer. The smaller 70 mm model weighs 26 g, the larger 80 mm one 32 g. Both were designed for fishing at depth and hold up even in strong current.
The whole EcoPro colour range was developed together with ichthyologists, with local fish species in mind. The lures glow under ultraviolet light, which makes them easier for a predator to spot in poor visibility.
Besides the complex geometry, the material is worth noting: instead of the usual plastic this vib is made of soft but very durable silicone. That changed how the lure behaves in the water. The upper and lower fins act as stabilisers.
Phantom has no rattle chamber inside. Almost silent silicone vibs perform best on the most passive predator. The lure comes with two strong, sharp Saikyo trebles.

How to fish it
The lure works on lifts, pulls and gentle rocking. On a free fall it creates a strong disturbance that draws a predator in. The main retrieve is a steady one and stop&go; where snags are rare, a stepped retrieve near the bottom works too.
Target fish: zander, asp, pike and perch. When spinning, you feel a powerful vibration in the hand throughout the retrieve.
