Sensitivity is what matters most in a jig setup. The specialised Zircon Jig series differs from the all-round version in both the blank and the reel seat.
The series follows classic jig rod principles: the blanks have a more pronounced taper and the tip is considerably more elastic. An open SSS (Super Sensitive System) reel seat keeps the angler’s fingers in direct contact with the blank, which is exactly what delivers the excellent sensitivity. The blank is made of IMF graphite with lightweight SIC-insert guides in Tangle Free frames spaced according to the K-Guide system. The split handle gives a comfortable grip, and the casting performance easily reaches distant ledges and drop-offs.
