About the lure
EcoPro Sandra-M is a sinking lure of the vibration class that works in any water layer. It comes in three sizes: 55 mm (8 g), 65 mm (13 g) and 85 mm (19 g).
The whole EcoPro colour range was developed together with ichthyologists, with local fish species in mind. The lures glow under ultraviolet light, which makes them easier for a predator to spot in poor visibility.
The body of Sandra-M thickens towards the front, where the rattle chamber sits. The plastic dorsal fin adds a further acoustic effect and stabilises the lure in the water. Fittings are by Saikyo; depending on the model, size 4, 6 and 8 trebles are used.
The 55 mm model is the smallest and lightest vib in the manufacturer’s whole range. It suits the most delicate fishing in still water or in river stretches with a weak current. The main catches are perch, pike and smaller zander.

How to fish it
The main retrieve is a steady one and stop&go. Where there are no snags, a stepped retrieve right along the bottom also works. The lure sinks, which leaves the angler plenty of room to experiment. The vib responds both to gentle lifts and to sharp sweeps of the rod that draw a predator in from a distance.
In the manufacturer’s own view, Sandra-M is the most pike-oriented vib in the EcoPro range. It is also suitable for spinning.
